Next I hand-routed all the cavities where the electronics (and also the neck) would come.

The pockets are not perfect but hey, its not too bad either…

  

While doing this, I managed to apply too much pressure on the piece, and actually broke the 2 glued pieces of wood apart 🙁  Luckily, I was able to sand off the glue quite well and got them together again with my newly bought clamps!

Installing the electronics was a breeze. Not the first time I do this.

Now it is really starting to look like a guitar:
