This is my upgraded Z-axis. I got the kit from Improbable Construct. It features the ACME screw and Z-belt upgrades. It took me a while to readjust the correct depth but in the end it all worked out.

The aluminium Makita mounts are an updated version of one I found on the web. They aren’t pretty but they do the job.
