Workspace organizing

First of all: progress on finishing up the LAYZOR plans is slow… I’m getting there, but you know how it is; summer is coming, FIFA world cup is in progress (Belgium’s first match today!) and now that the machine is ready I need some time off from that project to be honest. But not to worry, I’m slowly getting there…

So in the meantime I decided to do some other projects that were long overdue. Today: cleaning up my mancave attic and making a little rack for my part organizers.

All the wood is scrap material so it didn’t cost me a dime. I cut 1/4″ grooves in the two side boards and used 6mm planks as dividers.

The glue-up was pretty messy, but it didn’t need to be beautiful, just functional. The side boards are slightly oversized by design so that you can put some small items on top.

There it is, much better than having those cases separately lying around my shop.

  1. I’d like to send you a free Dustopper to try on your CNC. Yours to keep. If you like it, perhaps you could post your experience. Many CNC buyers already. I’m Tom, it’s inventor. My website is (somewhat) under construction. For user reviews of Dustopper, go to Homedepot.com and search Dustopper. Thousands sold, and most people love ’em! Private mail me at the email address submitted with this form, and we can work out details.

    Thanks!
