My mom moved recently. She got an apartment so she wouldn’t have to deal with stairs and garden maintenance anymore.

A fresh start means new furniture. Some of the old stuff was sold second-hand, a lot of it was just taken to the landfill. But I did manage to salvage these three beauties: 2 tabletops and cupboard top in solid oak. 4, 3 and 2 cm thick respectively. I don’t think I’ll need to buy oak stock for the foreseeable future!
