Tripp Trapp chair restoration

My mother wanted a chair like this, but prices are pretty high, even for a second hand item. So we bought a really worn down one with the intention of restoring it to its former glory. Aesthetically it really looked bad, but there was no structural damage or anything like that, so it basically boiled down to a complete disassembly and a ton of sanding.

So here’s the ‘before’ gallery (notice the seat wear):

I also sandblasted and blued all metal parts.
