After doing some minor modifications to my Layzor (had to replace my broken power pot), I put it through its paces with some quick & easy projects. First up, making a simple sign for my band.
Secondly, I re-made my layered cat. I already made this a while ago on the ShapeOko, but as the design was intended to be cut on a laser cutter, I just had to revisit it. 2 full-sized panels were needed, a good way to test the full coverage of my working area. I hit one little snag, but it’s already fixed.
Router vs. Layzor:
Last and arguably least, I remade the rubberband gun as well. Just as a proof of concept. It works fine, but I prefer the cnc-cut version.
